Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of DocumentWeave, the operator of the DocumentWeave service. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and be authorized to act for the organization whose documents you process. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

Your content and permission to process it

You retain your rights in the files, data, templates, corrections, and other content you submit. You grant DocumentWeave and its service providers the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, and deliver that content solely to operate and secure the service. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions required to upload and process it.

Review of generated documents

Document extraction and generated documents can contain mistakes or omissions. DocumentWeave requires a human approval step, but you remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on, signing, sending, filing, or using them. The service does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, or other professional advice.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service unlawfully; infringe another person's rights; upload malicious code; attempt to bypass access controls or limits; interfere with the service; test for vulnerabilities without permission; or use the service to process prohibited or highly sensitive data that we have not agreed to support.

Service availability and changes

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or product quality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Any paid plan, refund, cancellation, or service-level terms presented at purchase will also apply.

Ownership

DocumentWeave and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, branding, and documentation. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content to us or ownership of the service to you.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties not expressly stated in writing. DocumentWeave is not responsible for decisions made from unreviewed or incorrectly approved output. Liability limitations required for a paid commercial launch may depend on your location and applicable law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend and indemnify the service operator against third-party claims arising from content you were not authorized to process, your unlawful use of the service, or your material violation of these terms.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising from these terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and each party consents to their personal jurisdiction.

Ending use and contact

You may stop using the service and delete projects at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or create a security or legal risk. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@documentweave.com.
