Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DocumentWeave processes when you use the service, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

We process your account identity, such as your email address and sign-in provider; files and project information you choose to upload; corrections and approvals you save; generated documents; and limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, extract and organize source-document details, let you review those details, generate your requested document pack, restore saved projects, provide support, prevent misuse, and maintain service reliability.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, DocumentWeave uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how the website is used. Analytics receives the page path without query parameters, referring page, browser and device information, approximate location derived by Google, and general interaction information. We do not configure Analytics with your account email, uploaded filenames, project IDs, document contents, extracted details, or generated documents. Analytics does not load until you select “Allow analytics.” You can decline without losing product functionality and change your choice later through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Service providers

DocumentWeave uses service providers to run the product, including Google Cloud and Firebase for hosting, identity, storage, and task processing; Google Analytics for optional website measurement; Neon for application data storage; and Anthropic's API for document extraction. These providers process data under their own commercial terms and privacy commitments. The Anthropic API's standard commercial retention may keep inputs and outputs for up to 30 days, subject to its policy exceptions or a different written arrangement.

Storage and deletion

Project files and saved records remain available to your account until you delete the project or the information is removed under an operational, security, or legal requirement. Deleting a project removes its source and generated files and its application records from active use. Limited logs or backup copies may remain temporarily where needed for security, recovery, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Your responsibilities

Upload only information you are authorized to use. Do not upload passwords, payment-card data, medical records, government identification, or other highly sensitive information unless DocumentWeave has expressly agreed in writing to support that data.

Your choices

You can decline or withdraw optional analytics through “Cookie settings” in the footer, and you can delete individual projects in the product. To request account access, correction, or deletion assistance, contact privacy@documentweave.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and changes

We use access controls, private storage, encrypted connections, short-lived download links, and account-scoped authorization. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date above when we do.
